Falcons make roster moves

Springfield, MA – The Springfield Falcons announced today that they have reassigned 5 players off their training camp roster.

The following players were reassigned:

PLAYER REASSIGNED TO

Jason Baird – Forward Augusta (ECHL)

Colin Zulianello – Goaltender Augusta (ECHL)

Marek Priechodsky – Defense Pensacola (ECHL)

Jeremy Van Hoof – Defense Pensacola (ECHL)

Pat O'Leary – Center Released from ATO

The following players remain on the Falcons Training Camp Roster:

Goaltenders – Zac Bierk, Evgeny Konstantinov, Patrick DesRochers

Forwards – Erik Westrum, Brad Ralph, Sergei Kuznetsov, Peter Fabus, Dmitry Afanasenkov, Kenton Smith, Ryan Tobler, Nick Marach, Rob Murray, Matt Elich, Mike Cirillo, Gordie Dwyer, Yves Sarault

Defense – Kristian Kudroc, Dan Smith, Michael Schutte, Harlan Pratt, Jay Leach, Mathieu Biron, Andy Reierson, Goran Bezina

The Falcons also announced that forwards Ramzi Abid and Jason Jaspers were recalled by the Phoenix Coyotes to play in their preseason game against the L.A. Kings in Oklahoma City.

The Falcons will wrap up their exhibition schedule this coming weekend when they host the Hartford Wolf Pack on Friday, October 4th and Providence Bruins on Saturday, October 5th. Game time for both home games this weekend is 7: 35 PM.

The Falcons regular season will begin Friday, October 11th when they host the Hartford Wolf Pack at "The Nest."
