December 27, 2002 - ECHL (ECHL)
Fresno Falcons News Release
FRESNO, Calif. â Chandar Sports Chairman Charles Davenport has decided to make a change in the leadership of the Fresno Falcons' business operations by ending Falcons President John Tull's tenure with the organization effective today. The position of Falcons Head Coach and General Manager Blaine Moore is unaffected by the decision.
Finding a replacement for Tull is a top priority, and Davenport hopes to make an announcement soon after the New Year regarding a new president, who will lead the organization in its move to the Save Mart Center and the East Coast Hockey League next fall.
In addition to the Falcons, Chandar Sports owns and operates the expansion Las Vegas Wranglers, which will also join the ECHL in the fall of 2003. The ownership of the two minor league hockey franchises mark the initial steps in the company's plan to acquire and cultivate diverse holdings in the areas of sports and entertainment.
