Washington Wild Things News Release
WASHINGTON, PA â Officials at Falconi Field, home of the Washington Wild Things, announced the LONESTAR concert tickets have sold quickly.
Nearly 3,000 tickets, which went on sale on Saturday, July 24, were sold over the opening weekend. As a concert venue, Falconi Field is able to expanding its seating by placing nearly 2,000 seats on the infield, raising capacity to 5,200.
"We have been overwhelmed with the immediate response from the community," said Washington Wild Things owner John Swiatek. "We were optimistic that country music fans would respond to our intimate venue, and they obviously see Falconi Field as a great place to see their favorite country artists."
The concert, headlined by LONESTAR, along with Josh Turner, The Poverty Neck Hillbillies, and Wayne Warner will be on Sunday, September 19.
Tickets are still available by calling Ticket master at (412) 323-1919 , logging on to www.ticketmaster.com or at the Washington Wild Things Box Office.
