Fahey Assigned From AHL Worcester

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. - The Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies of the ECHL, a proud affiliate of the New York Islanders, have announced that defenseman Brian Fahey has been assigned by Worcester of the American Hockey League. Fahey reported to training camp this morning at Flyers SkateZone.

Fahey, 23, led all Bullies defensemen in scoring during his rookie season in 2003-04 with 11 goals and 37 points in 55 games. Loaned to Worcester last season on January 27, Fahey signed a contract with the Ice Cats on February 4 for the remainder of the year. The Glenview, IL native appeared in two games with Worcester and also 12 games with Hershey notching one assist. He signed a contract for the 2004-05 season with the Ice Cats on June 30.

Fahey is a former fourth round draft pick of the Colorado Avalanche in the 2000 NHL Entry Draft.

Opening Weekend 2004 at Historic Boardwalk Hall is just around the corner as the Bullies battle heated rivals Trenton at 7:05PM on Friday, October 29 and Reading at 7:05PM on Saturday, October 30.
