
Gulls get ready for two preseason games

SAN DIEGO â The San Diego Gulls have started practicing, but now it's time for some game action, as they get set to face the Long Beach Ice Dogs Friday and Sunday in two preseason games.
Friday's contest will be an Ice Dogs home game, but will be played at the Glacial Gardens Skating Arena, located in Lakewood Calif. (about six miles from the Long Beach Arena)
Sunday's match-up will be a Gulls home game, but will be played at the San Diego Ice Arena, located in Mira Mesa, Calif. (about 17 miles from the San Diego Sports Arena)
Tickets to Friday's game at the Glacial Gardens Skating Arena will be $5 for general admission and $3 for Ice Dogs season ticket holders. The game is scheduled to start at 7:30 p.m. For more information, contact the Ice Dogs at (562) 423-3647 or at www.icedogs.com.
Tickets to Sunday's game at the San Diego Ice Arena will be $7 for general admission and $5 for Gulls season ticket holders. Gulls season ticket holders can purchase their tickets in advance at the Sports Arena Administration Office (please ask for Greg Olmen).
Sunday will be a 5 p.m. start time and after the game all fans are invited to take the ice for a special edition of "Skate with the Gulls," which normally takes place after every Sunday regular season home game.
