Round Rock Express News Release

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Thunderstorms forced the suspension of Saturday night's Pacific Coast League game between the Round Rock Express and Nashville Sounds at Herschel Greer Stadium. Round Rock leads 1-0 heading into the bottom of the fourth inning. The game will be finished from that point Sunday at 5:05 p.m. CDT. Sunday's regularly scheduled game will start 30 minutes following the completion of the suspended game.

Round Rock built a 1-0 lead after a Tommy Everidge's two-out RBI double brought in Wladimir Sutil. Sutil led off the top of the fourth with a single.

Express starter Polin Trinidad has scattered two hits, not allowing a run, with three strikeouts through 3.0 innings.

As the game was heading bottom half of the fourth, storms started and the decision was made to suspend the game.

The Express will use a committee of relievers to pitch on Sunday's regularly scheduled game, opposed by southpaw Chase Wright (6-3, 3.79 ERA) for the Sounds.
