ROUND ROCK, Texas - Ryan Strausborger's hot series continued tonight as the right fielder blasted a pair of home runs to power the Round Rock Express (27-21) past the Reno Aces (23-25) by a final score of 4-3 Saturday night at Dell Diamond.

RHP Jose Leclerc (1-0, 3.00) picked up his first career Triple-A victory after holding the Aces to just one hit in a scoreless eighth inning of relief. Despite going the distance, Reno RHP Braden Shipley (3-3, 3.18) suffered the loss after allowing all four Round Rock runs on 10 total hits over the span of eight innings on the mound.

The visitors jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the first inning thanks in part to a leadoff double by CF Todd Glaesmann. A Mike Freeman groundout moved his outfielder to third before RF Socrates Brito smacked a fly ball just deep enough to left field to allow Glaesmann to tag and score the opening run of the contest.

The Express answered right back in the third inning as C Patrick Cantwell doubled on the very first pitch of the frame. Newly acquired 3B Edwin Garcia then picked up his first base hit of the season with a single that scored Cantwell from second.

Still basking in the glow his walkoff single last night, Strausborger gave the E-Train their first lead of the night in the very next inning, smashing a solo home run into the third row of the home run porch well above the berm in left field. The outfielder matched his effort in the sixth, blasting another solo home run into the home run porch well beyond the left field foul pole. His second dinger of the evening gave the Express a 3-1 lead.

Express starter RHP Kyle Lohse ran into a bit of trouble in the seventh. Brito led off the inning with a single before LF Ed Lucas followed suit with a single of his own. After striking out SS Jack Reinheimer, Lohse was relieved by RHP Anthony Carter. Despite receiving a no decision, Lohse posted an impressive stat line. The righty went 6.1 innings deep, limiting the Aces to three runs on six hits while striking out five.

Continuing the inning, Reno DH Zach Borenstein lined Carter's second pitch of the night deep into left field, scoring both runners in the process. Borenstein then advanced to third on the ensuing relay throw. In the very next at-bat, 3B Carlos Rivero grounded to Garcia, who scooped up the ball and tossed it to Cantwell to record the easy fielder's choice out at home. Carter escaped the inning by enticing Glaesmann to fly out, but not before walking C Mark Thomas.

Round Rock 2B Drew Robinson responded to the game-tying rally in the next inning, roping a solo home run just fair around the right field foul pole to put his team up 4-3. In the ninth, RHP Carlos Fisher recorded his sixth save of the season after a 1-2-3 ninth inning that included a pair of electrifying strikeouts to end the game.

The two teams continue their series Sunday on H-E-B Kid's Day. RHP Chi Chi Gonzalez (1-5, 5.55) is set to start for Round Rock while LHP Edwin Escobar (2-1, 4.68) is scheduled to go for Reno. First pitch is slated for 1:05 p.m. at Dell Diamond. Kids attending the contest can enjoy pregame festivities outside the stadium as well as run the bases after the game.
