ROUND ROCK - The Reno Aces defeated the Round Rock Express by a 7-6 score in 11 innings on Sunday afternoon at Dell Diamond. The visitors chipped away at a three-run deficit following Round Rock's six-run third inning to force free baseball, and then won the game on a solo home run by Tuffy Gosewisch (@SantiaGosewisch).

Reno opened the scoring in the first inning, as Kyle Jensen singled up the middle to set up an RBI double to center by Sócrates Brito (@SocratesBrito). The Aces extended their lead to 3-0 in the following frame with a pair of doubles by Zach Borenstein and Gosewisch and a run-scoring single from Mike Freeman (@MikeBFree5).

Round Rock scored six runs in the third to take a 6-3 lead. James Jones and Delino DeShields started the inning with singles to left field. Brett Nicholas and Joey Gallo then drew one-out walks to force in a run before Ike Davis cleared the bases with a three-run double to center. Justin Ruggiano then punctuated the big inning with a two-run home run to left-center.

The Aces closed the gap to 6-5 in the sixth. Borenstein hit a one-out single before Carlos Rivero (@Carlos_Rivero3) lined a two-run home run to left, his first hit of the series and his third dinger of the road trip. Borenstein struck again in the eighth, taking a one-out offering from Phil Klein out to center for a solo homer to tie the game at six.

Reno continued to rally in extra innings, taking a 7-6 lead when Gosewisch logged his second RBI of the day on a game-winning, two-out home run in the 11th. The win marked the Aces' fourth this season in their last at-bat, and the second of this road trip following Monday's 6-2 victory at New Orleans.

Five Reno relievers combined to pitch seven scoreless innings in relief of Edgar Garcia, who allowed six earned runs on eight hits (one home run) with four walks and three strikeouts over four frames. Adam Loewen (2-2) earned the win after he recorded a strikeout during a perfect 10th inning, while Matt Capps allowed a hit and a walk with two strikeouts in the 11th to record his second save.

Leading the Aces with three hits apiece were Borenstein and Gosewisch, while Freeman and Jensen each had two knocks on the day. Gosewisch and Rivero both had a pair of RBI to notch their second and sixth multi-RBI games, respectively.

The Aces and Express conclude their four-game series on Memorial Day, when first pitch is slated for 10:05 a.m. PT. Reno will send righty Matt Buschmann (1-4, 5.36) to the bump, while right-hander Nick Martinez (4-3, 5.24) will toe the rubber for Round Rock.
