Vermont Lake Monsters News Release
BURLINGTON, VT --- The Vermont Expos and True Value will team up to help raise money to aid victims of Hurricane Katrina during the final three home games of the season this Sunday, Monday and Tuesday, the team announced today.
During each of the three games during the homestand, the Expos and True Value will sell mini-bats for $1 in the concourse area with all the proceeds from the sale going to the Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund.
In addition, all fans are encouraged to make an additional financial gift to Hurricane 2005 Relief, so that the Red Cross can provide shelter, food, counseling and other assistance to those in need. Donations to the Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund can be made with cash or check (made payable to American Red Cross).
