Oshawa, ON - The Oshawa Generals announced a surprise giveaway Sunday, January 15th, at the Generals home game. Courtesy of Expedite Plus, valued corporate partner to the Oshawa Generals, season ticket holder John Raciopo won a trip for 2, anywhere Air Canada flies.

Victor Deschenes, President and CEO of Expedite Plus, attended Sunday night when the Oshawa Generals played a hard fought game against the Sudbury Wolves in front of a packed crowd of 4731. Thrilled with the great support from the fans, Deschenes wanted to reward some of the Gens most ardent supporters by providing this outstanding prize for a season ticket holder.

Winner John Raciopo commented, "It's really nice to see the Generals reaching out to their season ticket holders like this. It's this kind of effort that shows how committed the team is to the fans. I can't wait to take my trip!"

Toronto native Victor Deschenes founded Expedite Plus over 25 years ago and has developed it into a multi-national organization with offices world wide. He is as much known for his business success as for his philanthropy, which includes donating 100 tickets for every Generals game to local charities this season.

"I'm thrilled to be working with the Oshawa Generals, to make junior hockey accessible to more people and to give back to the fans who devote so much to the team and the league," commented Deschenes.

The prize is valid for 2 tickets anywhere in the world to which Air Canada flies.
