EVERETT, Wash. - The Everett Silvertips, proud eight-time U.S. Division champion and two-time Western Conference champion of the Western Hockey League (WHL),ÃÂ have 14 former players now currently active in the American Hockey League (AHL).
FourÃÂ players from the 2020-21 Silvertips have joined the AHL ranks: former captain Gianni Fairbrother, captain Cole Fonstad, alternate captain Gage Goncalves and goaltender Dustin Wolf. Three others- former captain Bryce Kindopp, alternate captain Wyatte Wylie and Jacob Christiansen- played with the Silvertips during the 2019-20 season.
Ten different AHL franchises are represented on the list. One of them, the Stockton Heat, is under the leadership of head coach and former Everett Silvertip Mitch Love.

TIPS IN THE NHL
After selections on Jul. 24 for Niko Huuhtanen (Tampa Bay) and Olen Zellweger (Anaheim), the Everett Silvertips have elevated 29 players to be drafted by NHL clubs, including ten in the previous four years. Last season, three Silvertips were selected in the draft - Gage Goncalves (Tampa Bay) in the second round, Kasper Puutio (Florida) in the fifth round, and Ronan Seeley (Carolina) in the seventh round. Entering the 2021-22 season, their 19thÃÂ in the WHL, the Silvertips have helped promote 20 players to make their NHL debut.
FourÃÂ former Silvertips are currently active in the NHL: Radko Gudas (Florida Panthers), Carter Hart (Philadelphia Flyers), Jujhar Khaira (Chicago Blackhawks) and Ryan Murray (Colorado Avalanche).
