(Edmonton) The Edmonton Eskimos have released import defensive back Randee Drew, the club announced today.
Drew joined the Eskimos on September 24, 2009 as a free agent. He appeared in six games (six starts) for the Esks last season, recording 16 defensive tackles and a knockdown. He also started the Western Semi-Final and recorded six defensive tackles and a special teams tackle. Drew was placed on the injured list at the beginning of the 2010 Training Camp with a shoulder injury.
The Eskimos host the Montreal Alouettes Sunday, July 11 at 5pm.
