
Lobendahn Named Defensive Player of the Week

WINNIPEG, MB - Winnipeg Blue Bombers linebacker Joe Lobendahn has been named the Gibson's Finest Defensive Player of the Week for the first time in his career after an outstanding performance in the first week of the CFL season.
Lobendahn had a monstrous game against the Hamilton Tiger-Cats on Friday night, leading all defenders with eight tackles while also sacking Hamilton quarterback Kevin Glenn twice.
Lobendahn is playing in his third year with the Bombers and is enjoying his first year as the starting middle linebacker.
