(Edmonton) The Edmonton Eskimos have inked their second non-import free agent as defensive lineman Jermaine Reid signs with the football club.
Reid appeared in nine games with the Hamilton Tiger Cats last season recording nine defensive tackles, three quarterback sacks, one tackle for loss and one forced fumble. The Ontario native was drafted by Hamilton in the second round (ninth overall) in the 2006 CFL Canadian Draft. Reid has compiled 27 defensive tackles, four quarterback sacks, three forced fumbles, two tackles for loss and one fumble recovery in his four-year career.
