
Ticats Sign DB Daniel Francis

Hamilton, Ontario - The Hamilton Tiger-Cats announced today that the team has signed free agent defensive back Daniel Francis .
"Daniel is a versatile defensive back capable of playing a few different positions. We expect him to make an immediate contribution to our team," said General Manager Bob O'Billovich.
Francis, a 5-11, 175-pound native of Lafayette, Louisiana, has spent the last two seasons with the Saskatchewan Roughriders. In 2010, he made 53 defensive tackles, 10 special teams tackles, one quarterback sack, one tackle for a loss, two forced fumbles and one fumble recovery.
The Louisiana State product has also spent time with the NFL's Washington Redskins.
