Blue Bombers Visit Selkirk for 'Blue and Gold Night' at MJHL's Steelers Game

WINNIPEG, MB - The Winnipeg Blue Bombers will be in Selkirk, Manitoba on Friday, February 18th to attend the Manitoba Junior Hockey League game between the Selkirk Steelers and the Winkler Flyers. Dubbed 'Blue and Gold Night', Blue Bomber Quarterback Buck Pierce and offensive lineman Kelly Butler will be on hand signing autographs during the first intermission and Head Coach Paul LaPolice will drop the puck before the opening faceoff. Bomber mascots Buzz and Boomer will also be in attendance, and their will be Blue Bomber prize giveaways throughout the evening. At the end of the game, fans will be treated to a small fireworks display.

The Winnipeg Football Club has planned several appearances over the next few months to various parts of the province. This visit to Selkirk comes a week after the Blue Bombers visited Kenora, Ontario where they played basketball against students at Lakewood School and attended the Chamber of Commerce.
