
Eskimos Sign Import Offensive Lineman

The Edmonton Eskimos have signed import offensive lineman Patrick Afif, the club announced today.
Afif most recently played in the AFL with the Arizona Rattlers and was an 11-game starter with the San Jose SaberCats during their Arena Bowl championship run in 2007. In 2006 he played with the Rio Grande Valley Dorados of af2 in 2006. The California native attended Washington State University where he was a two-year starter for the Cougars. His last name is pronounced AH-FEEF
The Eskimos also announced today that they have released import wide receiver Rudy Burgess.
