(Edmonton) The Edmonton Eskimos today released import linebacker Andre Sommersell. The Colorado State product appeared in 8 games (5 starts) in his rookie season with the Esks, posting 9 defensive tackles, 3 sacks, 1 pass knockdown and 1 tackle for loss.
