Montreal, MontrealAlouettes.com - Following the successes of the CN Adopt an Alouette program, the hockey tour, the School is Cool basketball tour, the junior football camps, the Alouettes' Classic and several other community initiatives, the Montreal Alouettes are proud to announce a new training program for young coaches.

An initiative the Alouettes coaching staff, the first annual Alouettes Coaching Clinic will provide amateur coaches with technical training while strengthening the association between the Alouettes and minor football.

All positions will be covered by professional instructors. Among the coaches involved to the clinic are members of the Alouettes' staff Marcel Bellefeuille, Noel Thorpe, Brad Miller, Charlie Carpenter and Chris Jones. Raymond Perras, formerly with the Montreal Expos, Ottawa Senators and Saskatchewan Roughriders will also run a session.

The first Montreal Alouettes Coaching Clinic takes place Apr. 21 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Concordia University's Hingston Hall on its Loyola Campus' (HC 112), located at 7141 Sherbrooke St. West in Montreal.
