(Edmonton) The Eskimos have signed import running back Daniel Libre, the club announced today.
Libre appeared in 17 games in his two year collegiate career at University of Hawaii at Manoa. He led the team in rushing attempts (99), rushing yards (443) and rushing touchdowns (6) as a senior. He accumulated a career total of 122 carries for 633 yards and six touchdowns; and 24 catches for 162 yards. Daniel is on the cover EA Sports NCAA Football 2010.
The club also announced that import defensive end Michael Williams has been released.
