WINNIPEG, MB - The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have added import wide receiver Jamayel Smith to their roster.
Smith (6-0, 189, Mississippi State, DOB: August 9, 1984 in East Point, Georgia) spent last season with the New York Sentinels of the United Football League after a standout collegiate career with the Bulldogs where he finished with 76 catches for 1,147 yards and six touchdowns. His best season came as a junior in 2007 when he finished second on the team with 510 receiving yards and three touchdowns.
