
Eskimo DB Jason Goss named defensive player of the week

(Edmonton) Edmonton defensive back Jason Goss has been named the Rogers CFL Defensive Player of the Week for his performance against Montreal on Friday night. Goss had three defensive tackles, two interceptions and one knockdown. His first interception came near the end of the first half when he picked off Marcus Brady and returned it 82 yards for a touchdown, putting the Eskimos up 31-7. His second interception came on the first drive of the second half and set up another Eskimo touchdown. Goss currently leads the team with five interceptions for 164 yards.
