Erik Anderson Re-Called To Milwaukee

January 9, 2003 - ECHL (ECHL)
Toledo Walleye News Release

(Toledo, Ohio) The Toledo Storm of the East Coast Hockey League today announced that forward, Erik Anderson, has been re-assigned by the Nashville Predators of the National Hockey League from the Storm to the Milwaukee Admirals of the American Hockey League.

Anderson (5'11"/192) (24) began this season with the Storm and scored five goals and added five assists in Toledo 's first six games. On October 26, he was re-called to Milwaukee, where he played 25 games, scoring 4 goals and picking up 7 assists prior to being re-assigned to Toledo on December 20. In his latest stint in Toledo, Anderson scored two goals and assisted on another in nine games. In fact, he scored a goal in each of Toledo's last two games (a 5-4 shootout victory over the Arkansas Riverblades on Tuesday; and a 5-4 regulation win over the Jackson Bandits on Wednesday). In the shootout against Arkansas on Tuesday, Anderson, shooting third for the Storm, buried his shot. That shot turned out to be the difference in the shootout.

The Storm returns to action on Friday night against the Baton Rouge Kingfish with the third game in the team's current five game road trip. Game time is 8:00 p.m. (EST), and the game broadcast can be heard live on WCWA 1230 am in Toledo and www.toledostorm.com beginning with the pre-game warm-up show at 7:30 p.m. (EST).
