
Lynx Welcome W.O.W onto the Ice

AUGUSTA, GA - The Augusta Lynx and Walton Rehabilition Hospital are proud to announce the first ever Winners on Wheels ice hockey game. The game will be played during the first and second intermissions during the Lynx game on Sunday night when the Lynx entertain the Florida Everblades.
Winners on Wheels is a national program with a local chapter out of Walton Rehabilitation Hospital that provides scouting type programs for children who use wheelchairs. The winners have been learning different terms, and techniques used by the hockey players and will earn a hockey badge after playing on the ice. The Lynx will also honor these special hockey players by presenting them with Lynx game night hockey pucks.
