Zooperstars Invade Fresno

FRESNO, Calif. âNames like Mario, Dominik, and Shaquille are known throughout the world of professional sports for their talent, artistry, and sheer domination of their game. Sports fans would expect to pay hundreds of dollars to witness the performances of such famous athletes, but the Falcons are bringing them directly to Selland Arena on Sunday, January 12, at 5 pm for the low price of just $8-$14 per ticket! That's right, Mario Lemule, Dominik Hashark, and Shaquille O'Seal, along with Clammy Sosa and Ichiroach Suzuki--otherwise known as The Zooperstars!--will be visiting Fresno this Sunday in honor of Freddie the Falcon's Birthday Party! The Zooperstars, presented by Heald College, will be performing during both intermissions.
Freddie's Birthday Party, presented by Sierra Tel Internet, marks the first Falcons home game of 2003 and the first Jostens poster night of the season. The first 1,000 fans through the doors to see the Falcons battle the Anchorage Aces will receive a commemorative "Freddie's Birthday" poster courtesy of Jostens. Sunday is a CentralValley.com Family Day, presented by San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District, where fans can purchase six tickets for only $28 using a coupon from the CentralValley.com website.
Sunday's game marks the beginning of a five game home stand that continues with a Carl's Jr. Two for Tuesday game on January 14th against Anchorage, and concludes with an action packed weekend with games next Friday and Saturday against the Idaho Steelheads and a Sunday Family Day match-up against the Long Beach Ice Dogs on January 19th. Group rates for all five games are available by calling the Falcons' office at 485-PUCK, and individual tickets are available through the Selland Arena box office, all Ticketmaster outlets or at www.ticketmaster.com.
