LAST GAME
Erie split another doubleheader with Somerset on Friday after accomplishing the same two nights prior. Somerset roughed up Elvin Rodriguez in the first game, hitting him for a season-high six runs in just 2.2 innings of work, eventually finishing off the opening set 9-2. Erie responded with four early runs in the second game, capitalized by Spencer Torkelson's seventh home run of the season with Erie. Riley Greene later added a two-run double, as Greene collected four hits across the twin bill. Jesus Rodriguez tossed 5.1 innings and only allowed a solo home run to Dermis Garcia. In the sixth inning, heavy rain quickly fell on TD Bank Park, forcing the game to be called early.
