Today, the two hottest teams in the Eastern League square off as the SeaWolves return home to begin a three-game series against the Bowie Baysox (Baltimore Orioles) at Jerry Uht Park. The SeaWolves capped off their third straight series win last night as they took down the Altoona Curve 2-1. The SeaWolves have now won eight of their past 11 games...Bowie enters tonight in a first place tie with Altoona and have won eight of the last 10...Chad Green makes his 15th start of the season and third against the Baysox . Green is 0-1 with a no-decision in his previous two starts against Bowie. Green took a no-decision in his last start at Akron on June 22. In the game, he allowed two runs, one earned, on six hits with two walks and five strikeouts in 5.2 innings of work. Erie led the game 3-2 in the eighth but fell to the Ducks 4-3. RHP Warwick Saupold takes the mound for the SeaWolves in game two making his 14th appearance, 13th start and second start against the Baysox . Saupold took a no-decision to Bowie on April 19 allowing three runs on five hits with a walk and a strikeout in 5.1 innings. Saupold snapped a four-game losing streak in his last start against Akron on June 21 as he earned his second win of the season. In the game, he allowed a run on two hits with a walk and seven strikeouts in six innings of work. Erie won the game 2-1 in seven innings... RHP Elih Villanueva takes the mound for Bowie making his 11th start and first against the SeaWolves. Villanueva earned a win, tossing a gem in his last start against Trenton on June 22. Villanueva tossed a complete game shutout, allowing four hits with two walks and four strikeouts.
