ENTERING TONIGHT'S ACTION...

Tonight, the SeaWolves look to get back on track as they take on the Altoona Curve (Pittsburgh Pirates) in the second game of a four-game series at Jerry Uht Park. Altoona took the series opener on Thursday night 8-3 to improve to 3-1 against Erie. The Curve have won four of their last five and are 7-3 in the last 10 games...The SeaWolves struggles at home continued last night as the club has dropped five of their first seven at "The Uht." In the seven home games for the 'Wolves, the pitching staff has allowed 70 runs on 96 hits and has an ERA of 8.43. Erie has not allowed fewer than six runs to an opponent at home this season...Rightie Danny Christensen makes his fourth start of the season and his second against the Curve. He took a no-decision in his last outing against Altoona going 6.2 innings, allowing a pair of runs on four hits. He left the game leading 2-1, only to see Altoona's James Boone launch a two-run home run in the bottom of the seventh with two outs. All the runs in that game scored with two outs. 12 of the 21 runs Erie has allowed in the season series against Altoona have come with two outs, including seven of the eight runs last night...The Curve send former SeaWolf, LHP Corey Hamman to the mound tonight. Hamman is winless on the season in four outings. Tonight, he makes his second start of the season and his second against Erie. Hamman allowed four runs, two earned, on four hits with a pair of walks and a strikeout in a loss to Erie on April 18. Erie won that game 13-4.
