Tonight, the SeaWolves go for a series win as they take on the Akron RubberDucks (Cleveland Indians) in the second game of a two-game series at UPMC Park. Last night, the SeaWolves jumped ahead in the first inning and never looked back as they took down the Ducks 11-5. It was the second time this season that the SeaWolves scored double digit runs against Akron...Righty Alfred Gutierrez takes the mound for the SeaWolves making his seventh start and first against Akron. Gutierrez is in search of his first win since beating Richmond on July 25. He is 0-1 with two no-decisions since that start. Gutierrez took a loss in his last start at Altoona on August 12. In the game, he allowed six runs on 11 hits with no walks and five strikeouts in 5.2 innings of work. Erie lost the game 6-4...Lefty Sean Brady takes the mound for Akron making his 25th start and third against the SeaWolves. Brady is 0-1 with a no-decision and a 5.06 ERA in his previous two starts against Erie. Brady took a loss in his last start against Binghamton on August 16. In the game, he allowed six runs, four earned, on seven hits with three walks and a strikeout in 4.1 innings.
