Tonight, the SeaWolves look for three straight wins for the second time this season as they take on the Akron RubberDucks (Cleveland Indians) in the third game of a four-game series at Canal Park. Last night, the SeaWolves plated three runs in the top of the third inning and went on to lead the rest of the game, taking down the Ducks 8-2...The last time Erie won three straight games was April 5-7 in a series win at Reading...Right Sandy Baez takes the mound for Erie making his seventh start and first against Akron. Baez took a no-decision in his last start against Harrisburg on May 7. In the game, he allowed two runs on three hits with a season-high four walks and six strikeouts in six innings of work. Erie lost the game 5-3 in 11 innings and dropped to 2-4 in Baez starts...RHP Shao-Ching Chiang takes the mound for the RubberDucks making his seventh start and first against Erie. Chiang earned his second straight win in his last start against Richmond on May 7. In the game, he allowed two runs on six hits with two walks and five strikeouts in five innings of work. Chaing has not allowed more than two earned runs in any of his first six starts. Chiang made two starts against the SeaWolves in 2017, posting a 1-0 record with a 6.55 ERA (8 ER/11.0 IP).
