Energy to Wear "Junior Achievement" Jerseys on Sunday for Family Day

Des Moines, IA February 19, 2014 - The Iowa Energy return from the All-Star break on Sunday, February 23rd and will host the Fort Wayne Mad Ants at Wells Fargo Arena at 4 PM.

The Energy will team up with Junior Achievement as part of the Wells Fargo Big Assist program. The team will be wearing special Junior Achievement branded jerseys that will be auctioned off during the game. Fans can visit the Junior Achievement table to bid on the select Iowa Energy jerseys.

Sunday will be Family Day presented by College Savings Iowa. Families can purchase 4 tickets, 4 pops, 4 popcorns, and 4 hotdogs for only $44. Purchase this special package by calling the Iowa Energy office at 564-8550.

The Energy enter the second half of the season with the second best record in the NBA D-League. Eleven of the Energy's nineteen remaining games will be played at home, including the final five games. All-Star guard Othyus Jeffers ranks 7th in the league in scoring, averaging 22.8 points per game, and 2nd in rebounds with 11.0 per game.
