87ers Announce February Promotional Schedule

NEWARK, DE.-February 19, 2014- The Delaware 87ers have announced the remaining promotional schedule for February 2014.

Friday, February 21, the 87ers encourage fans to join their favorite Star Wars characters in cheering on the team as they take on the Texas Legends at 7:00 p.m. at the Bob Carpenter Center. Popular Star Wars characters will be on hand to interact and take pictures with fans. All children dressed as a Star Wars character will receive a voucher for a free pretzel when they enter the arena. Additionally, the Sevens will be featuring $1 pretzels at the concession stands during the game.

Lastly in February, the 87ers will host B+ night on Friday, February 28 at 7:00 p.m. when the Delaware 87ers host the Sioux Falls Skyforce. All tickets to this game will be $15 and a portion of the proceeds will benefit the B+ foundation. All fans will receive a complimentary t-shirt jersey as they enter the arena. The 87ers will wear themed B+ Jerseys and fans will have the chance to bid on the game worn jerseys in a Silent Auction that benefits the B+ Foundation.

Following all Friday night games for the remainder of the season, fans ages 13 and under are invited to participate in Free Throw Fridays. Fans are welcome to shoot free throws on the same court as their favorite Sevens players.

The 87ers will feature special guests, Sixers Dream Team, presented by Parx Casino and Sixers Flight Squad, presented by Lundy Law at six games during the remainder of the 2013-14 regular season.
