Springfield Armor News Release
SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - The Springfield Armor, presented by MGM Springfield, announced Wednesday that guard/forward Quinn McDowell has been released.
McDowell played in 22 games, making four starts for Springfield before being deactivated on February 17. Prior to his deactivation, the William & Mary product averaged 3.5 points and 2.1 rebounds per game over 13.1 minutes on the floor. Selected in the sixth round of the 2013 NBA Development League Draft, McDowell tied his career-high with nine points three times this season, most recently on February 1 at Delaware in a 115-112 win over the Sevens. His last action with the Armor came on February 10 against Bakersfield (two points in 14 minutes).
After three games on the West Coast, the Armor will return home to face the Austin Toros for a two-game set beginning on February 27 inside the MassMutual Center before Brooklyn Nets Night, presented by Big Y, on February 28.
