
Energy Defeat Tulsa, Push Winning Streak to Four Games

Des Moines, IA - The Iowa Energy defeated the Tulsa 66ers 112-101 on Saturday night at Wells Fargo Arena.
The first quarter was back and forth between the two Central division rivals. Tulsa led 26-24 after the first quarter.
The second quarter was all 66ers, as they held the Energy to just 18 points. Tulsa took a 51-42 lead into halftime.
The Energy picked it up in the second half, outscoring the 66ers 70-50 on the half. Iowa went on to the 112-101 victory to improve to 26-17 on the year. The 66ers fall to 21-25.
Tulsa was led by Mario Little's game high 31 points, shooting 8-12 from behind the arc. Rodney Bartholomew added 16 points and 11 rebounds off the bench. Scoop Jardine finished the night with 13 points.
The Energy were led by Othyus Jeffers. He finished with 27 points, 12 rebounds, 6 assists, and 4 steals. Patrick Christopher and Curtis Stinson each added 19 points. Jackie Carmichael finished the night with 17 points and 11 rebounds.
The Energy will play two games on the road before returning home for the final five games of the year. They will take on the Canton Charge on Saturday, March 29th at 7 PM. The game is Hoops for the Cure night presented by Mercy Cancer Center. The first 1,500 fans will receive Thunderstix and $2 beer night.
