ELMIRA, NY - November 18, 2015 - The Elmira Jackals, ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Buffalo Sabres and the AHL's Rochester Americans, visit the Manchester Monarchs for a Wednesday morning matchup.

MAGNIFYING THE MATCHUP
This morning's contest marks the second of 11 meetings this season and the first of five at the Verizon Wireless Arena in Manchester, N.H. The Jackals and Monarchs played their first ever meeting on Halloween night in Elmira, and, despite third period goals from Spiro Goulakos and Tyler Currier, the Jackals fell 4-2. Goulakos' tally was his first professional goal, and Mark Bennett's assist on Currier's marker was his first professional point. Taylor Stefishen, Nick Zappia and Nathan Oystrick also recorded assists in the October 31st meeting.

? Player/assistant coach, captain and veteran defenseman Nathan Oystrick played in his 500th professional game on Saturday night. He recorded 65 NHL games, 86 games in the KHL, 338 contests in the AHL and 11 games in the ECHL. In 500 pro games Oystrick has totaled 252 points (75 goals, 177 assists) and 701 penalty minutes. Oystrick was drafted by the Atlanta Thrashers in the seventh round (#198 overall) in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft. He made his NHL debut on October 14th, 2008 with the Thrashers against the Minnesota Wild.
? Forward Mike Seidel has recorded goals in four consecutive road games. The Darien, IL native leads the Jackals with six goals and ranks second with nine points.
? Two Jackals scored their first goal as members of the team this past week. Forward Justin Bernhardt recorded his first goal of the year on Saturday night and defenseman Kevin Clare notched his first marker of the season on Tuesday.
