Schaumburg IL - The Schaumburg Boomers, presented by Wintrust Community Banks, return home to Boomers Stadium on Tuesday after winning 5 of the last 6 games including sweeping the Lake Erie Crushers over the weekend. The Boomers will host the Evansville Otters June 12-14.
On Tuesday night the Boomers will host Educators Appreciation Night featuring special guest Dennis Haskins, aka Mr. Belding from the 90's hit T.V. show Saved by the Bell. Dennis Haskins will be taking pictures and giving autographs to fans during the game. Any educators can purchase tickets for just $6 for the game. Plus it's a $1 Hot Dog Tuesday. Game time is 6:30 and the gates open at 5:30.
Wednesday night is Jimmy Buffet(t) Night - the picnic area will be set up for a Jimmy Buffett inspired cheeseburger buffet. Fans can get a ticket to the game plus the all-you-can-eat buffet for just $20. The buffet begins when gates open at 5:30 and concludes 90 minutes after first pitch. First pitch is scheduled for 6:30.
The homestand concludes with Military Appreciation Night on Thursday. Any active and former military can get reserved tickets for just $2. The Boomers will wear special jerseys that will be auctioned off during the game to benefit veterans' charities. The game starts at 6:30 and gates open at 5:30.
The Boomers continue to provide affordable family fun in a great atmosphere including free parking, a free kids zone with inflatables and playground, championship baseball, and more.
