Edmonton, AB - Edmonton Oil Kings General Manager Bob Green announced today the signing of 19 year old forward Jeff Lee. The Calgary, Alberta native played last season and part of this year for the Univeristy of Alaska - Fairbanks in NCAA's Division 1. The 6 foot 2, 195 pound forward will join the Oil Kings on their current road trip and likely play his first game Saturday in Regina.
"Jeff is a big, strong kid who's a good skater and plays well at both ends of the ice which will fit right into Head Coach Steve Pleau's systems." said GM Bob Green. "He'll get a great chance to play a lot of valuable minutes for our hockey club."
Lee was orginally a 7th round pick of the Seattle Thunderbirds in the 2003 Bantam Draft.
