
Bruins round up Rebels 3-2

CHILLIWACK, B.C. - The Chilliwack Bruins used a shootout goal in Round seven by Jadon Potter to edge the Red Deer Rebels 3-2 in WHL action on Friday night. The Bruins had regulation goals by Colby Kulhanek and Mark Santorelli while Brandon Sutter netted both goals for the Rebels in the loss. Bruins forward Oscar Moller saw his goal streak snapped at 9 games, even though he scored in the shootout to keep the Bruins alive for Potter's heroics.
Mark Friesen picks up his first WHL win with 25 saves on the night. Morgan Clark takes the loss for the Rebels, who lose their 13th one goal game of the season.
The Bruins embark on a three game road trip, beginning tomorrow night in Kamloops, followed by games next week in Everett and Vancouver. The Bruins return home to face Kamloops in a week on Saturday, November 17, 2007.
