ECHL Suspends Trenton's Joseph for Two Games

December 17, 2002 - ECHL (ECHL) News Release


PRINCETON, N.J. – The East Coast Hockey League announced on Tuesday that it has suspended Trenton center Yann Joseph for two games as a result of his actions in ECHL Game # 359 vs. Dayton on December 14.

At 10:20 of the first period, Joseph delivered a forceful blow from behind to the head of a Dayton player. He was assessed a major penalty and a game misconduct for charging under Rule 47(b). He is suspended the two games under Rule 33(a) Supplementary Discipline.

Joseph will miss Trenton's games vs. Peoria (Dec. 17) and vs. Roanoke (Dec. 20).
