ECHL Announces Disciplinary Action Against Peoria, Johnstown

PRINCETON, N.J. – The East Coast Hockey League announced on Tuesday a series of disciplinary actions against the Peoria Rivermen and the Johnstown Chiefs resulting from ECHL Game # 355 on December 14 at Johnstown.

Peoria coach Jason Christie has been suspended three games and fined an undisclosed amount, and Peoria right wing Josh Kern has been suspended one game. Johnstown coach Toby O'Brien has been suspended one game and fined an undisclosed amount; Johnstown forward J.F. Boutin has been suspended five games and fined an undisclosed amount; Johnstown defenseman Brent Bilodeau has been suspended one game; and Johnstown right wing Lukas Smital has been fined an undisclosed amount.

Christie will miss Peoria's games at Trenton (Dec. 17), vs. Baton Rouge (Dec. 20) and vs. Baton Rouge (Dec. 21). Kern will miss Peoria's game at Trenton (Dec. 17). O'Brien will miss Johnstown's game vs. Cincinnati (Dec. 20). Boutin will miss Johnstown's games vs. Cincinnati (Dec. 20), vs. Reading (Dec. 21), at Lexington (Dec. 22), at Trenton (Dec. 26) and at Wheeling (Dec. 27). Bilodeau will miss Johnstown's game vs. Cincinnati (Dec. 20).
