
ECHL Announces Fines, Suspensions

PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL on Tuesday announced the following fines and suspensions.
Cincinnati's Liambas fined, suspended
Cincinnati's Mike Liambas has been suspended for one game and fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions prior to ECHL Game #384, Chicago at Cincinnati, on Jan. 21.
Liambas is fined and suspended under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline.
Liambas will miss Cincinnati's game at Chicago on Jan. 25.
Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.
Chicago's DiDiomete fined, suspended
Chicago's Devin DiDiomete has been suspended for three games and fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions prior to ECHL Game #384, Chicago at Cincinnati, on Jan. 21.
DiDiomete is fined and suspended under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline.
DiDiomete will miss Chicago's games vs. Cincinnati (Jan. 25), at Toledo (Jan. 27) and vs. Cincinnati (Jan. 28).
Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.
Chicago, Cincinnati organizations fined
The Chicago and Cincinnati organizations have each been fined an undisclosed amount as a result of their players' actions prior to the start of ECHL Game #384, Chicago at Cincinnati, on Jan. 21.
Utah's Yaworski fined
Utah's Blair Yaworski has been fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #381, Bakersfield at Utah, on Jan. 20.
Yaworski is fined under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline.
Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.
