Chicago Sends York to Springfield

Hoffman Estates, IL - The Chicago Express, proud member of the ECHL and proud affiliate of the NHL's Columbus Blue Jackets, announced today that G Allen York has been assigned from Chicago to Springfield (AHL) by Columbus (NHL).

York moves back to the Springfield Falcons after being assigned to the Express on January 5th. With Chicago this season, York has collected 3.62 GAA along with a 4-3-1-0 record and a .888 save percentage. The first year pro has played in three different levels of hockey this season, including stops in Columbus with the Blue Jackets and the Springfield Falcons. With Springfield, York has posted a 1-1-0-0 record with a 3.94 GAA and .871 save percentage.

The Express return to the Sears Centre Arena on Wednesday, January 25, Saturday, January 28, and Sunday, January 29, against the Cincinnati Cyclones.
