
ECHL Announces Fines, Suspensions

PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL on Monday announced the following fines and suspensions.
Florida's Salters fined, suspended
Florida's Leigh Salters has been suspended for five games and fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #330, Florida at Gwinnett, on Jan. 7.
Salters was assessed a boarding major and game misconduct under Rule #41.5 at 8:55 of the first period. He is fined and suspended under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline.
Salters will miss Florida's games against Chicago (Jan. 11, Jan. 13 and Jan. 14), at Gwinnett (Jan. 20) and at South Carolina (Jan. 21).
Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.
Stockton's Hayes fined, suspended
Stockton's Colten Hayes has been suspended for two games and fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #326, Stockton at Bakersfield, on Jan. 7.
Hayes is fined and suspended under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline.
Hayes will miss Stockton's games at Alaska on Jan. 11 and Jan. 12.
Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.
Greenville's Reynolds fined, suspended
Greenville's T.J. Reynolds has been suspended for one game and fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #337, Greenville at Wheeling, on Jan. 8.
Reynolds is fined and suspended under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline.
Reynolds will miss Greenville's game against Gwinnett on Jan. 12.
Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.
Greenville's Connolly fined
Greenville's Brendan Connolly has been fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #337, Greenville at Wheeling, on Jan. 8.
Connolly was assessed a major penalty for slashing and a game misconduct for slashing under Rule #61.5 at 19:33 of the third period. He is fined under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline.
Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.
