
Earthquakes Host LAFC Today

SAN JOSE, Calif. - The San Jose Earthquakes (4-7-6; 18 pts.) face LAFC (6-6-5; 23 pts.) at PayPal Park today at 4 p.m. PT . The match will be broadcast on NBC Sports Bay Area, KNBR 1050 and 1370 KZSF.
San Jose extended their unbeaten streak to six after earning a point in a 1-1 draw against the Portland Timbers on Wednesday night at Providence Park. The Quakes hold a 2-5-0 overall record against LAFC, but have won each of the past two matches in the series.
LAFC currently occupies seventh place in the Western Conference standings. The club is winless in their last four matches (0-2-2), most recently falling 4-1 against Sporting Kansas City on Wednesday at Banc Of California Stadium. The SoCal side are led by midfielders Jose Cifuentes and Carlos Vela, and forward Diego Rossi, who have each scored five goals in 2021.
