
Earthquakes Host Austin FC Tonight

San Jose Earthquakes News Release
SAN JOSE, Calif. - The San Jose Earthquakes (8-12-9; 33 pts.) host Austin FC (7-18-4; 25 pts.) at PayPal Park tonight at 7:30 p.m. PT . The match, presented by the City of San Jose, will be broadcast on NBC Sports Bay Area, KNBR 1050 and 1370 KZSF.
Austin FC is in their inaugural season in Major League Soccer. The Quakes and Austin have met twice so far this season, with the two teams playing to a scoreless draw June 19 before San Jose earned a dramatic 4-3 comeback victory on Sept. 18. Tonight's match is the first-ever meeting between the two teams in San Jose.
The last time San Jose hosted an expansion team, the Quakes prevailed 1-0 over FC Cincinnati on May 4, 2019. Nick Lima, who now plays for Austin FC, scored the lone goal for the Earthquakes.
