COLUMBUS - Columbus Crew (10-12-7, 37 points) travels to face Nashville SC (11-3-15, 48 points) at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee, tonight, Wednesday, October 20 [8:30 p.m. ET / Bally Sports Great Lakes, Bally Sports App (Stream) / 97.1 The Fan & 971TheFan.com (English); ColumbusCrew.com (Spanish)]. Coverage of the match on Bally Sports Great Lakes is set to begin at 8:00 p.m. ET.
Wednesday's contest is the second and final regular-season meeting between the two sides in 2021. The prior meeting was hosted by the Crew at Lower.com Field on July 21. Goalkeeper Eloy Room earned the shutout as the two sides battled to a scoreless draw.
Earlier today, the Crew today announced that Head Coach Caleb Porter will not be available for this evening's match at Nashville SC. Porter did not travel to Nashville on Tuesday evening after being entered into MLS Health and Safety Protocols on Tuesday afternoon. In Porter's absence, Assistant Coach Ezra Hendrickson will temporarily assume coaching duties on the sideline tonight. Porter is the lone matchday addition to the availability report for tonight's contest. Additional updates on Porter's status for Saturday's home match will be provided in the near future.
