San Jose has had the edge in its three all-time meetings against Austin FC, all of which occurred in their inaugural season in 2021. Following a scoreless draw on June 19, the Quakes won 4-3 (Sept. 18) and 4-0 (Oct. 20) to keep their undefeated record in the series. Earthquakes midfielder Chofis has scored three goals in the three prior meetings between the clubs but will miss today's contest due to injury.
