SAN JOSE, Calif. - The San Jose Earthquakes (3-5-5; 14 pts.) will face first-place Los Angeles Football Club (8-3-2; 26 pts.) at Banc of California Stadium today at 3 p.m. PT. The match will be broadcast nationally on UniMas and TUDN, as well as on local radio via KNBR 1050 (English) and 1370 KZSF (Spanish).
San Jose enters today's match on a four-game unbeaten streak (2-0-2), tied for third longest in MLS.
LAFC hold Major League Soccer's best record. After winning seven of their first nine matches (7-1-1), the club has won just one of their last four (1-2-1). LAFC have yet to concede more than two goals in any match this season while posting four shutouts. Carlos Vela, the 2019 MLS MVP, leads the team with six goals and three assists so far in 2022.
