San Jose Earthquakes News Release
SAN JOSE, Calif. - The San Jose Earthquakes (7-12-9; 30 pts.) will face FC Cincinnati (9-8-11; 38 pts.) at TQL Stadium in Cincinnati, Ohio today at 4:30 p.m. PT. The match will be broadcast live on NBC Sports Bay Area, KNBR 1050 (English) and 1370 KZSF (Spanish).
San Jose has won two of its last three matches, conceding no more than a single goal in all three contests. Newcomer Rodrigues made his MLS debut in last Sunday's 2-0 win over Vancouver Whitecaps FC, earning MLS Team of the Week honors for his role in the shutout victory.
FC Cincinnati has lost just one of their last 14 matches, with 10 resulting in ties (3-10-1). The club's last defeat at home was vs. the New England Revolution on May 21.
The matchup will pit two high-scoring American forwards against one another in San Jose's Jeremy Ebobisse (15 goals) and Cincinnati's Brandon Vazquez (16). Today's matchup is just the second ever meeting between the Quakes and FC Cincinnati, who entered the league in 2019.
