Williamsport Crosscutters News Release

The Williamsport Crosscutters were unable to hold on to an early 3-1 lead as they fall to the Auburn Doubledays on the road.

Auburn posted a four-run inning against Cutters starter Felix Paulino in the bottom of the 2nd inning to overtake the Cutters, who had used a three-run top of the 2nd to take their early lead.

Paulino dropped his first decision of the season, going 4.0+IP, allowing five runs, four of which were earned, while walking one and striking out another.

Scott Harris, Kenny Koplove and Tyler Hallead worked four shutout innings of relief out of the Crosscutters bullpen. Williamsport's bullpen has now allowed just one earned run over their last 24.1 innings of work.

Williamsport drops to 0-5 on the road and 4-2 against the Pinckney division.
